Newsletters and Calendars

Regularly Scheduled Activities - All regular activities are currently suspended due to COVID 19.


  • 8:00-8:30 Movin' & Groovin' - Low impact aerobics
  • 8:30-9:00 Smooth Moves - Strength training using hand weights, stretching and balance exercises
  • 9:30-11:30 Knitting - Learn from other class members
  • 10:00-12:00 Oil Painting - Taught by Marilyn Gragg, Instruction fee $20 per month (Summer schedule - Painting for Fun, No Instructor)
  • 1:30-2:30 "Caroliners" - Advanced line dance


  • 9:30-11:30 "Senior Songbirds" - Led by Linda Herald, practice singing for fun and then go to a nursing home to entertain the residents.  (Summer schedule, no meetings)
  • 10:00-12:00 Senior Crafters - Crafters get together to learn from each other or a guest instructor.  (Sometimes meetings are in the afternoon.  See the calendar for times.)
  • 1:00-4:00 Mah Jongg, every second and fourth Tuesday, new players welcome to come and learn from others.
  • 1:30-2:30 Rooted & Rockin - Chair aerobics and strength training.  All exercises are performed from a seated position.


  • 8:00-9:00 Baby Boomer Yoga - Combines the ancient and highly effective practices of Qigong, meditation, and yoga.  All poses will be performed either standing or sitting.  Taught by Ellen Crider, Yoga Therapist.
  • 10:00-10:45 Line Dance 1 - Beginner-Moderate line dance (New beginner basics are taught in the months of September and January.  Skills build in subsequent months.)
  • 11:00-11:45 Line Dance 2 - Intermediate line dance (Summer Line Dance Schedule:  Level 1 and 2 meet together from 11:00-12:00)
  • 1:00-3:00 Wood Carving - New or experienced carvers welcome
  • 1:00-3:00 Cribbage Games - New players welcome to come and learn from others


  • 9:15-1:00 Fun and Friendship Club - Socializing and card playing, annual club dues $15
  • 1:00 - 4:00 Euchre - A social card game with 4 players (2 teams of 2 people). New players are welcome and do not need to know how to play the game.
  • 1:30-3:30 Lap Quilting, Needlework, Alterations, and all types of Needlecraft - Taught by Jeanne Enloe, Instruction fee $20 per month (No class in the summer)
  • 1:30-2:30, 2nd Thursday of the month, Living Will and Health Care Power of Attorney Clinic. Call to register.
